The spot was co-directed by Moses Sumney and Partizan’s Allie Avital, and coloured by Kaitlyn Battistelli of Electric Theatre Collective. 

When asked about the music video's colouring, the director of the piece, Partizan’s Allie Avital said, "Kaitlyn Battistelli at Electric Theatre Collective is one of the most exciting talented colourists out there and I feel so lucky to have her working on my projects, including Quarrel. She's a true artist in the way she approaches film colour, not unlike a painter or sculptor".
