Mo-Sys will be exhibiting at the second KitPlus show of the year, on Friday Friday 30 September. KitPlus Twickenham will allow attendees to catch up on the latest Virtual Production technology, broadcast workflow tools, training and workshops. Mo-Sys Academy will host a series of short Virtual Production Training taster sessions and we’ll be showcasing an infiLED LED screen courtesy of Bendac in addition to hosting a panel session discussing “The Future of Virtual Production Training”.

Mo-Sys's innovative solutions will be present, including:

  • StarTracker – widely recognized camera tracking system which uses retro-reflective stickers, randomly applied to the studio ceiling or the lighting grid, to define a star map.
  • VP Pro XR – dedicated XR server purpose-built for Cinematic XR on-set real-time production.
  • Mo-Sys Academy – learn Virtual Production from industry-leading professionals, featuring skills and techniques that are at the forefront of the modern film industry.

The Future of Virtual Production

14:30pm Seminar Stage

Mo-Sys will also be hosting a panel session at 14:30pm discussing how to overcome the skills gap and maximise the opportunities of Virtual Production for Film and Broadcast with panellists including Alex Boutellier of Ravensbourne University London and David Levy Director, Business Development, Global Solutions at ARRI.

Virtual Production (VP) is rapidly growing – and evolving. It offers cost efficiency, reduced environmental impact and increased creativity as the boundaries to what is possible are pushed ever further outwards. Its uptake is challenged mainly by the shortage of trained VP technicians and a lack of hands-on practical learning opportunities for university students and industry professionals looking to upskill.

Known for its innovative solutions and expertise in VP for the broadcast, commercial and film industries, Mo-Sys along with industry and academic representatives will discuss “The Future of Virtual Production”, addressing the skills shortage and the importance of training, providing insight and useful information around the career development paths that exist.
