Dan Lowe from Park Village and brand consultancy Portas have been working with iconic shoe brand Clarks to tease out the true meaning of ‘original’. Lowe has filmed a series of short documentaries for Clark’s 'Originals Pioneers' in which he has invited extraordinary creators from across mediums to collaborate.
Throughout the project he has interviewed the likes of musical innovator Nathan 'Flutebox' Lee, Art Director/Set designer Anna Lomax, home grown creative duo Patternity and last but by no means least, the inimitable Hip Hop royal, MF Doom. For those out there who aren't familiar with the Metal Faced villain, he's the original gangster of 90's Hip Hop in New York that essentially pioneered the artistic anonymity of Daft Punk and Deadmau5.
