Mercury Nominee The Comet is Coming Writes for Cavendish Music
The Comet is Coming brought psychedelic synth magic to last night’s Mercury Music Prize where they were shortlisted the for coveted award.
Cavendish Music were lucky enough to have worked with the trio’s core member, Danalogue the Conqueror, on recent release Analogue Dreams.
Dan locked himself away at London’s burgeoning Total Refreshment Centre to create something truly unique using analogue gear, including vintage synths, effects units and drum machines. Capturing the careful balance of retro sounds and contemporary ideas, the collection includes nods to M83, Tame Impala, Nils Frahm, Caribou, Com Truise, Nosaj Thing and Animal Collective.
