EP+Co seeks to highlight the good work of men everywhere
Men’s Wearhouse and EP+Co are gearing up for Father’s Day with a fresh take for the brand by inspiring men to do good. As part of this year’s Good on You culturally-driven brand campaign that launched in April, Men’s Wearhouse has sought out to highlight the good work of men everywhere with the Good on You Initiative. Those men who are going above and beyond to make their communities a better place are being honored by the brand with a custom jacket and a sizable donation to the causes they care about most.

The first recipient is being recognised this Father’s Day - Rodney Smith, founder of 'Raising Men Lawn Care Service' exemplifies what it means to be an extraordinary father figure to young men, despite not having children of his own. Rodney started a nationwide nonprofit to help guide young men give back to their communities by doing yard work – free of charge – for local veterans, the elderly, and disabled and single mothers. Men’s Wearhouse is honoring Rodney with a custom jacket to look and feel good, while he is doing good. The retail brand has also awarded Smith’s foundation with a $10,000 donation as a thanks for all that he is doing to better young men in the world.

To kick off this activation, Men’s Wearhouse has partnered up with social media guru, Tank Sinatra (@tanksgoodnews), who will host and amplify the initiative’s content across his channels. The brand has partnered with Tank because his social mission to spread positivity aligns with the core purpose of this initiative.

The campaign strategy stems from a study implemented by EP+Co revealing that 91% of men agree that it takes more courage to be a good guy than it does to be a typical alpha male. “Today, more than ever, it’s important to give men the courage to step up and be good, to further causes that count and to set a good example for other boys and men, even when that means demonstrating that “the accepted” is no longer acceptable. Men’s Wearhouse is on a mission to affirm the good we see inside the guys we serve and encourage more good men to look as good on the outside as they are on the inside,” says Emily Rule VP, strategy director at EP+Co.

The Good On You Initiative will continue to spotlight men across the country who are doing good - affirming the brand’s core message of giving men the confidence to care.
