Park Village announces a new addition to its growing roster: Melody Maker.
The London native has directed commercials and music videos for brands and artists such as HP, BOY, Gorgon City, Shades and Killa P, Shift K3Y, Jetta Fool, Foreign Beggars, and Wizard Yoshi. Melody cut her teeth in the fashion industry, where she nurtured her taste for design and composition. Prior to her foray into film, she developed her talents at BOY London, beginning as Head Designer before working her way up to Creative Director.
Melody’s impressive entry into filmmaking affirms her rich and diverse skillset. Her films reflect a beautiful aesthetic with dark and surreal undertones. With a sharp eye for beauty and composition, Melody’s work plunges audiences into an immersive and mesmerising world. In her music video for Foreign Beggars, she masterminds a heart-racing and highly-stylised journey with innovative effects. Her command of technical challenges and creative solutions is visible too in her music video for Gorgon City, which features elaborate set-ups coupled with a rich and vibrant look.
Tom Webb, Managing Director at Park Village, comments: “Melody is an exciting director and creative talent and we are delighted to welcome her to the Park Village family. We were instantly impressed by her progressive approach to filmmaking and her design background is evident throughout her work”.
