MullenLowe Group has announced the shortlist for the 2019 MullenLowe
NOVA Awards and launched voting for the
YourNOVA Award. From 1,300 graduating students, 14 have been shortlisted and just 6 MullenLowe NOVA Awards will presented to students whose work represents truly creative thinking and execution.
Shortlisted students are:

Haemin Ko, MA Character Animation
Xiaoying Liang, MA Graphic Communication Design
Lara Orawski, MA Photography
Minh Le Pham, BA Architecture
Fredrik Tjærandsen, BA Fashion Womenswear
Wen Ju Tseng, BA Jewellery Design
Mita Vaghela, MA Fine Art
Today also marks the launch of YourNOVA, the ‘people’s choice’ award, which invites the public to cast their vote for their favourite piece of work from the shortlist. The student who receives the most votes will be crowned the ‘YourNOVA’ winner for 2019. More information about the shortlisted work can be viewed
here and voting is open until Tuesday 2nd July.
Jose Miguel Sokoloff, president of MullenLowe Group Global Creative Council and chief creative officer MullenLowe Group UK says: “Following impassioned deliberations across two judging days, we now have our final shortlist for the 2019 MullenLowe NOVA Awards. These 14 students represent the very best Central Saint Martins has to offer.”
“Now it’s over to the public. Reviewing the shortlist and casting your vote for the YourNOVA Award is a wonderful way to experience creativity in its purest form. I encourage everyone to engage and see how these brilliant young minds are using challenger thinking to solve real- world problems that affect every one of us,” he continued.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on the 4th July. The six awards include: one overall winner, two runners up, the Unilever #Unstereotype Award, the Creative Review Innovation Award and the YourNOVA Award.
