8th win sets a new record for most ‘Network of The Year’ titles won by the same network

McCann Worldgroup has been named the Golden Drum’s ‘Agency Network of the Year,’ for the eighth year, breaking all previous festival records. In addition to this network honour, the network won 51 awards, taking home eight Grand Prix, eight Golds, 11 Silvers, and 24 Bronzes, from a total of 62 shortlists.  

The winners came from countries across the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region, for work with a range of leading global and local brands including Mastercard, KFC and the Czech Insurance Association. Individual agencies also shone with MRM Romania named the ‘Digital Agency of the Year,’ and UM Romania winning the ‘Media Agency of the Year’ Award.  

The Golden Drum Awards are one of advertising's biggest European events, celebrating extraordinary creative contributions from agencies across the region. They honour the most ground breaking achievements in the creative and advertising industries. The ‘Agency Network of the Year’ award is the most important award of the festival, given to the agency with the most cumulative winning points for its entries.

McCann Poland’s Bartosz Jeglejewski was also named ‘Creative Director of the Year’. This award recognised Bartosz’s work on Mastercard’s 'Room for Everyone' campaign; an important project using data to promote collaboration between Polish and Ukrainian entrepreneurs, effectively building on Mastercard’s 'Where to Settle' brand platform and enhancing their financial inclusion purpose.
