McCann Worldgroup today announced that it has hired creative powerhouse Jordan Doucette as chief creative officer, McCann Worldgroup, Canada, where she will oversee all creative operations and output across the network’s Canada operations, which includes McCann, MRM and Craft, and offices in Toronto, Montreal and Calgary.
In her new role, Jordan will work with creative leadership across Canada to further strengthen the creative product across all clients and maintain its leadership position through continuous innovation. She will serve as Canada’s chief partner to the broader McCann Worldgroup creative leadership team, led by global chief creative officer Javier Campopiano.

Jordan takes over for Ian Mackenzie in the role, as he shifts full focus to serving as McCann Worldgroup’s global AI creative lead. Since taking on duties as McCann Worldgroup Canada CCO earlier this year, Ian has had a significant impact on the team’s creative innovation efforts while also serving as McCann Worldgroup’s global AI creative lead. Ian will remain based in Toronto and will tap into the bench strength of McCann Worldgroup’s operation in Canada in addition to the network’s creative talent around the world in pursuit of AI-enabled creative innovation.
Jordan most recently served as president and chief creative officer of Dentsu Creative Canada, where she led the agency’s creative teams in the region across clients in a wide range of verticals, including automotive, QSR, CPG and financial services. During her tenure, Dentsu Creative was recognized with its first Cannes Lion, D&AD Yellow Pencil and Best of Discipline at The One Show. Jordan served on the film jury at the Cannes 2023 Advertising Festival of Creativity, The One Show 2024 Film & Video Jury and will be a speaker at the 2025 One Club Creative Leaders Retreat. She is an active participant in the creative industry, having participated in the Cannes See It Be It Program, The Immortal Awards, and serving as a senior judge for the 2024 Canadian Marketing Awards for the Global Creative award category.

Jordan joins McCann Worldgroup at a time of creative and new business momentum. Just recently, McCann Canada was named Effie Canada Agency of the Year and took home the Grand Effie at the Effie Awards in Toronto for the “Feel Out Loud” initiative it launched with Kids Help Phone, aimed at expanding access to e-mental health support for young people across Canada.
After competitive pitches year-to-date, McCann Worldgroup Canada won ATCO Energy, Cargill, Forests Ontario, JD Irving, Sports Excellence and Vidanta.

In the past year, McCann Worldgroup reclaimed the title of Most Effective Agency Network from the Global Effie Index and was named Network of the Year by the ANDY Awards, Epica Awards and New York Festivals Advertising Awards. McCann Worldgroup was a top performer at the 2024 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, earning a Titanium Lion and four Grand Prix. The network has also recently garnered top honours at The One Show (a Penta Pencil for its work with Mastercard), the Clio Awards (five Grand Clios), a coveted Black Pencil from D&AD, among others.
Jordan is the latest in a series of new creative hires and internal promotions from Javier, who joined McCann Worldgroup a year ago, including Lynsey Atkin, newly appointed chief creative officer of McCann London and Shannon Washington as global chief creative officer of gotham. Existing talent taking on new roles include Adrian Botan to global creative partner, creative excellence; Ioana Filip to global executive creative director for the Reckitt business; and Shayne Millington, chief creative officer, McCann NY, among other key appointments. All come to the table with their own experiences and styles but are united by a passion for the simple but powerful motto of “Truth Well Told.
