Media agency Maxus has appointed Bijan White as EMEA head of digital in a new role created for the world’s fastest-growing agency (source: RECMA). In his role at Maxus, White will be responsible for further developing both the company’s digital media strategy and providing an additional tier of leadership across EMEA for agency clients. White has been tasked with interconnecting digital strategy with traditional media activity and creating actionable strategic frameworks to solve client marketing problems.
White joins Maxus from OMD International, where he was digital strategy director, EMEA, working on accounts including McDonald’s Europe, Bet 365 and HTC. At OMD he was a member of the board and responsible for delivering commercial strategies focusing on performance in regional and local markets, and content concepts including web design, apps, infographics and consumer engagement. Prior to this, he was digital strategy director, Nordics at OMD Denmark.

White will be based in Maxus’ Copenhagen and London offices and will report directly into Maxus’s EMEA CEO Federico De Nardis.
