Audiences are set to be mesmerised by the adaptation of Charles Dickens’ beloved Christmas story, performed by hundreds of animated drones and narrated in the unique style of Matt Lucas.
A Christmas Carol will take place at stadiums in Bristol, Brighton and Nottingham this December. Following hugely successful sell-out drone light shows in Bristol and Nottingham last winter, the team behind Evolution returns this year with a magical, festive show suitable for all ages. The new, much longer show reimagines the classic tale and will take audiences on a heart-warming journey with miserly Ebenezer Scrooge on Christmas Eve.
Matt Lucas commented, “I am thrilled to be narrating this new and exciting take on a Christmas classic. Using drones to tell a traditional story is brilliantly inventive and a glimpse into the future of entertainment. It’s a magical way to bring friends and family together during the festive season, and I’m sure it will delight everybody."
Celestial (creators of drone light shows for brands across the globe) is the world’s first entertainment studio to use drone technology to tell epic stories in the sky, and together with Yuup (the local experiences company) and venue partners, are bringing A Christmas Carol The Drone Light Show to UK cities for the first time.
