Mat Goff, the CEO of adam&eveDDB Group North America, will leave the agency at the end of the year.
Mat, formerly joint CEO of adam&eveDDB since 2016, took up his current position in January this year as part of a management restructure. He relocated to New York with his family as part of the move and will move back to UK on departure.
Mat was the first employee of adam&eve in 2008. He helped lead the agency to become the biggest in the UK (according to Nielsen), winning both Cannes and Campaign Agency of the Decade awards in 2020, three IPA Effectiveness Grands Prix and APG Agency of the Year three years in a row.
Mat Goff, CEO of adam&eveDDB North America, says, "The adam&eve journey over the last 15 years has truly been the stuff of dreams. It's been a wonderful privilege to work alongside and learn from so many outrageously talented people, past and present, on both sides of the pond. adam&eve is a very special place, but family ties pull strong. We will be moving back to the UK and with the move comes the chance for a new work adventure too."
Tammy Einav, CEO of adam&eveDDB UK, says, "What an amazing journey the last 15 years have been. I am so lucky to have shared it with someone as brilliant, talented and funny as Mat. I will miss him hugely, as will the agency. I speak for everyone when I say thank you for everything Goffy."
Glen Lomas, CEO of DDB EMEA, says,"We will miss Mat dearly, but of course understand his decision to put family first. We wish him all the best with his next adventure."
