Martha began her career as a creative and after more than 30 years in the industry working for agencies like Publicis, Leo Burnett, Wunderman and Oveja Negra, she has been promoted to CSO of the joint operation of SSP3 Colombia and Mexico. Martha, who was previously head of planning in MullenLowe SSP3 México, will report directly to Francisco Samper, regional CEO.
"At a time when data generation is at its peak, it is indispensable to have ability to interpret it correctly, connect it with people's emotions, insights, motivations and desires to then make it actionable. I couldn't think of someone more qualified than Martha to develop that work in our Colombian and Mexican operations. In her new role, Colombian clients will benefit from her brilliant career, which has earned her a lauded reputation in Mexico, and her expertise which has been pivotal in obtaining global accounts such as Bayer and Ferrero-Rocher, among others," said Francisco.
Martha added, "I've always considered strategy to be the first creative piece of a campaign or platform. I see an enormous opportunity in the collaboration between Mexico and Colombia to promote a cutting-edge planning area, sharing information, methodologies, insights and above all, love for work."
For Jorge Obregón, CEO of MullenLowe SSP3 Mexico, "It has been a great pleasure to collaborate with Martha for the past 10 years in Mexico. Her great strategic capacity and unparalleled inspiration have been the foundation of high value proposals and fundamental in the growth of the agency. We are convinced that her genius will continue to drive our clients' business at a regional level."
In addition, to complement the integration of the two markets, Juan Camilo Romero, senior planning director and Carolina Cortázar, planner, both of MullenLowe SSP3 Colombia, will reinforce the MullenLowe SSP3 Mexico team starting in September, while Manuela Roa will assume new key responsibilities in the Colombian agency as senior planning director. "We are committed to continuing to revolutionize our structure and teams to ensure the world class work that we want to do for our clients' brands. That's why more news will be coming soon," said Francisco.
