Mark Waring Joins Passion Pictures Melbourne

Passion Pictures Melbourne has welcomed Isle of Dogs animation director Mark Waring to its roster of talent.

Waring's earliest collaboration with Wes Anderson was as animation director on Fantastic Mr Fox, following which he worked alongside Tim Burton on The Corpse Bride and Frankenweenie  (all three of which were Oscar-nominated).

Says Waring on working in commercials versus features: "They are very different in terms of time frame, but it is a huge advantage to have an understanding of both, and to know the level of detail and production values that are achievable on a feature, so that you can bring them into your commercial game."
