Award-winning global music collective, JINGLEPUNKS, signs industry trailblazer Marcus Nelson, as executive producer for US and Europe.
After nearly a decade helming BUTTER music + sound in LA and Berlin, Marcus spent much of the pandemic working on business development and strategy with industry powerhouses Squeak E. Clean and SoStereo before coming home to JINGLEPUNKS.
“It’s very rare to find a true ‘work’ family, and at JINGLEPUNKS I feel like I’ve come home,” says Nelson. “The team at JINGLEPUNKS are unicorns; so much talent under one global roof, it’s exciting and effortless.”
EVP of Anthem Production Group (APMG) JD Adams and SVP of content and strategy of APMG Brian Wahlund agree: “We are thrilled to have Marcus as part of the team as we start this exciting new chapter at JINGLEPUNKS. Between this new addition and some of the amazing new and promoted creative talent on staff, we're excited to continue to work with some of the top agencies and brands in the world.”
Global in capabilities, JINGLEPUNKS, has offices in NY, LA, Toronto, London and Austin. Specialising in original composition, sync, and SFX; the team also curate a 700K plus library catalogue targeting digital and social projects.
“We want our clients to maximise their ability to share true emotional connection through sonic story telling; and what better way than through the magic of sound and picture,” says Nelson.
Along with Marcus joining the company to lead business development efforts in the ad space, the company’s original composition division website has undergone a thorough rebrand with an updated logo and a host of new and exciting work from the cadre of new, fresh creative in the ad space.
Marcus will be representing JINGLEPUNKS at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity next week, and hopes to see you there, hydrated with your dancing shoes on.
