Independent Melbourne agency Magnum Opus
Partners has spent two years further establishing itself as a full
service creative and strategic marketing house. Reflecting its resulting
growth, the business has appointed a new account director, Jasmine Kha.
Previously
with Finlayson Communications for nine years, Kha is assisting the
agency's directors with their major clients and will also manage the
account service function for the agency.
Agency
managing director Erin Lightfoot, who joined the business as part of
its development from Magnum Opus Advertising to Magnum Opus Partners,
and who has a background across private and public sectors in CEO,
general management and marketing roles, is excited about the
appointment.
Says Lightfoot: "Jas is a highly skilled and experienced account director with a fine eye for detail,
a
friendly, no-nonsense manner, and a strong sense of what makes
strategic communications really work. With fourteen years senior account
service background - this is actually her second stint at Magnum Opus -
and we are delighted to add her huge range of client experience across
both blue chip companies and Government for our clients.
"In
the last two years we have very consciously broadened the business base
of the company away from just creating advertising towards also being a
strategic advice channel for clients, turning our thirty years of
practical business experience into actionable, insight-creating
consulting. MOP is using professional standards of research, situation
analysis, strategic planning and decision support to our traditional
output of great advertising and communications campaigns. And clients
are enjoying the strategic depth and results-driven work we are
producing for them: we are seeing the application of smart and
structured business consulting that is leading the decisions being taken
about major marketing and digital communications campaigns.
"We
are finding that what our clients are valuing more and more from the
agency relationship is the strategic insights we provide that are needed
for them to make informed business decisions, and to decide what they
should be communicating, and how. This adds real value to their
marketing effort. Superb original campaigns with crisp copywriting and
great art direction, will, of course, always be critical for overall
business success. But increasingly the direction of that creative work
will have a stronger strategic basis.
"Jasmine also
proudly has a bronze "Effie" to her name - Australian advertising's
highest award for results-focused advertising excellence - which
absolutely goes to our agency priorities - "Results. Nothing Less."
