Sound design and music company Machine announces the appointment of new head of production, Louise Baker. She joins the team of sound designers, composers and producers, bringing ten years of professional experience in post production.
Beginning her career in post at a London voice-over company, Baker then spent two years at Hogarth in audio versioning before making the move to VFX at The Mill. She went on to specialise in colour grading at Cheat as head of production.
Baker has led post production on high-profile campaigns for clients including Google, Samsung, Audi and Tesco, along with colour production on long-form projects for Channel 4 and Netflix.
The team at Machine is excited to welcome Baker to their Fitzrovia sound studios. Executive Producer Matej Oreskovic says, “We’re excited to have someone of Louise’s experience joining Machine. Her inquisitive nature, calmness and keen interest in sound & music is a perfect fit for our team. I look forward to working alongside her.”
“I’m delighted to join such an impressive and innovative sound team,” says Baker. “Machine is growing more than ever going into 2022, with a portfolio of really creative work. I’m looking forward to bringing my post production experience to the table.”
Baker joins Machine as the company experiences an exciting surge in momentum, celebrating a range of award-wins and accolades at international advertising festivals throughout 2021.
“We are excited to bring Louise on board to consolidate our production team,” adds managing director David Webb. “With expansion to New York scheduled for 2022, we can’t wait to see what the New Year brings.”
