Lowe Vietnam has been announced as the most awarded agency at 2014’s SMARTIES Vietnam.
The agency scooped seven effectiveness awards - two gold, one silver, four bronze - for their work with BPCastrol and with Unilever brand ‘Clear’. With Lowe’s four wins, Unilever Vietnam took home Marketer of the Year at the gala, held in Ho Chi Minh on 30 October.
The SMARTIES, run by the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), salutes outstanding achievement across the mobile marketing ecosystem. The Awards is now in its 10th year globally, and 2014 marks its first year in Vietnam.

The agency’s work with ‘Clear’, titled MyKool Vietnam, encourages explorative Vietnamese youth to become trendsetters, creating a national map of undiscovered places, and building recognition of Vietnam as a cool place to be proud of.
The Drive On campaign with BPCastrol, engages and rewards Vietnam’s long distance truck drivers. The app helps to take care of both the drivers and their trucks, using the mobile phone as a vital check-in device.
Lowe Vietnam made history earlier in 2014, by being the first Vietnam agency to win Gold at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, for their work with Unilever’s OMO. The agency also scored five awards at Spikes Asia for its work with the campaign. See below for the full list of awards.
