Lord Danger continues rapid growth efforts with addition of Jonathan Hyde, Parker Seaman and Steven Taylor to directorial roster

Innovative production studio Lord Danger today announced it has signed three new directors, Jonathan Hyde, Parker Seaman and Steven Taylor, adding a trifecta of notable talent to an already substantial roster. Hyde, Seaman and Taylor bring unique capabilities and expertise to the production studio with each director introducing a distinctive skill set and layer of experience that is tailored to fit Lord Danger’s growing client base and service offering.

As a whole, the trio boasts an inspiring body of work, including projects with Amazon, Corona, Google, HBO, Intuit, Netflix, Peloton, and Pizza Hut.

This group of groundbreaking directors will continue to refine Lord Danger’s mastery of creativity and connection, driving cultural impact across all channels of work, expanding the boundaries for their clients. This growth of talent for Lord Danger will propel them into the future, scaling not only the types of work that the studio creates, but the styles and perspectives as well.

Jonathan Hyde is a director who wears an extensive toolbelt with experience as a cinematographer, executive director, post production editor and designer. His projects include work with Peloton, Samsung, Levi’s and an original Amazon Series titled Always Jane. “Jonathan fits perfectly into our family at Lord Danger. His ability to strike the balance between director and hands-on creative visionary, seeing projects to the end without removing ownership from the client is indispensable,” says Lord Danger’s executive producer and founder, Josh Shadid.

The production studio is excited to bring their work into a new space using Jonathan’s nuanced and thought-provoking style of directing.

Lord Danger also welcomed director and actor Parker Seaman in this talent expansion. Seaman’s latest work includes the comedic film Wes Schlagenhauf Is Dying, featuring The Morning Show’s Mark Duplass and is set to premiere at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival. The film was produced in association with Lord Danger and executive produced by Shadid and Lord Danger’s managing director Michael Bennett. The film brings the team at Lord Danger into a new territory. “Being presented the opportunity to become part of a team that I so greatly admired was incredibly humbling,” said Seaman. “I have always believed in the work Lord Danger creates, so I’m really looking forward to reaching new heights together.”

Completing the trifecta is director and all-around creative Steven Taylor. His experience lies within executive and creative directing brand work, as well as fashion photography, brand campaigns, and celebrity portraits. Taylor has worked with many names and faces, including Dr. Woo for Haku Vodka, Swae Lee for Interscope Records, Shaun White for Macy’s, and has recently directed for Walmart. An all around creative, Taylor’s creative abilities cannot be placed inside a box, making his perspective fit Lord Danger’s current and future endeavors.

Currently, Taylor is digging deep into creating in the Web3 and real time engine space with several high profile projects that will illustrate his abilities as a techforward creative.

“Steven has a refreshing perspective on creating that frankly, we haven’t seen before. At heart, Taylor’s a problem solver. He looks at creativity and people as potential, seeing each project as a way to unpack who people are and what they do. There’s so much passion and humanity in his work as a result of his creative aptitude. We can’t wait to show the world what’s in his toolbox,” said Shadid.

Lord Danger is rapidly expanding their creative team of directors and talent, with an aim to bring creativity and technology to the forefront. Along with its partner studio Modern Logic, they are working with the new team of directors on projects that use AI and Real Time engines to create work for Web3, blending traditional capture filmmaking with the limitless possibilities of design-first real time and traditional animation pipeline. This new team will fortify its mission to be a beacon of creativity, delivering shocking and industry-leading content to the brand world and other spaces.
