When music and sound production studio Native opened its doors, it's first project saw them create the sound track to the Lloyds rebrand. We worked with the composers very closely to get the track just right. It had to be subtle and emotionally ambiguous, but with enough warmth and recognisability to work over time as an indentifiable track for the brand.
It was a process that involved composing with the test voice overs, and getting the build of the track just right without it ever fighting for the viewers attention.
Once the track was approved, they recorded the string section at Angel Studios in Islington.
The arrangement is changed for each advert to ensure the piece works as a score, rather than just a track that runs underneath.
