Leo Burnett Group Malaysia is offering Malaysian business owners an opportunity to reach for the stars through its FREELB (pronounced Free-LB) project that is launching on 16 May 2013. FREELB encourages companies and businesses to submit their most compelling and creative brief, to win a brand campaign strategized and designed by Leo Burnett Malaysia, a multi-award winning creative agency.
“We are inviting entrepreneurs or companies with HumanKind products or services to submit their pitch for a chance to work with Leo Burnett. The FREELB project is one way we are giving back to Malaysian brands, and in the process, continue to raise the standards of advertising in Malaysia."” said Tan Kien Eng, CEO of Leo Burnett Malaysia. “The selected company will be awarded RM100,000 worth of strategic and creative services to develop a campaign in creating a HumanKind brand,” he added.
Leo Burnett’s creative approach stems from their core ‘HumanKind’ belief, an in-depth process of understanding people and the environment which then inspires work that strikes an emotional chord to change people’s behaviour. Based on the premise that “creativity has the power to change behavior”, it advocates creating acts, ideas and experiences that matter to people.
“At Leo Burnett, our creative success comes from our ability to put people first. In doing so, we are able to help brands unlock their true value by discovering their human purpose,” Tan explained. “We are looking forward to receiving a good number of creative brief submissions, as well as fostering long-term relationships with these companies who are keen and open to a different approach in achieving their business objectives,” stated Tan.
Open to all bona fide companies who are registered in Malaysia, this project offers a world class creative campaign to the winning company with no strings attached. Business owners can submit their proposal in written form or video.
