Leo Burnet Canada announces three new senior members of its strategy team. Pooja Beri and Zaid Khan join as strategy directors, with Aleeza Yermus as senior strategist, all reporting to Tahir Ahmad, CSO.
Zaid Khan returns to Leo Burnett as Strategy Director, having completed a Masters of Design from OCAD U’s Strategic Foresight & Innovation program. Back at Leo, Zaid brings ‘systems thinking' skills and tools to help clients see human problems as part of a network of connected issues. This panoramic view of human problems allows for more upstream creative solutions, outside the world of traditional comms.
Pooja Beri comes over from Leo Burnett Dubai with more than five years industry experience. This includes work on Mercedes-Benz, GMC, du, Omantel, Emirates NBD, Ferrero, Emirates Airlines, Saudia, Samsung, Meraas, and McDonald's. Pooja has been recognised across the Effies as well as WARC. “I came to Leo Burnett Toronto as it was the only company I would have moved across the world for!” says Pooja.
Aleeza Yermus is a creative strategist with a background in social strategy, content management and brand building. With over five years honing her craft in digital and social strategy, brand and comms planning, Aleeza has won CMA and marketing awards as well as making it to the top planners 2022 list. “I joined Leo because of its Humankind philosophy. It truly places people and imagination at the centre to understand the why's and how's of the human mind so we can seek to change behaviour, together.”
Said Tahir Ahmad: "As we continue our evolution to Creative Consultancy, it's exciting to be able to add such diversity of thinking to give us new ways of approaching and solving problems through creativity, and these three do exactly that.”
