Award winning technology TV series, Lenovo Late Night I.T., created in partnership with global technology business Lenovo and world-leading media and entertainment company CLICKON, returns for a second season.

The new series is fronted once again by Emmy nominated comedian, writer, and cultural critic Baratunde Thurston. With different guests joining him in each episode, the new season of late-night conversations will cover I.T. topics that will shape our future and help tech leaders think differently.

The first ever technology talk show format of its kind produced by a brand, looked to shift focus away from Lenovo being known as a PC devices company, to one that’s at the forefront of transformative technology. Its success on social and digital platforms led to the entire first season being picked up by Bloomberg TV, just two months after it launched.

It generated a seven-point increase in brand consideration, 72 million views, 300 million impressions: 70% higher than industry benchmarks and had a 20% completion rate. The first season also won two awards, including Best in Show at the ANA’s 2022 B2 Awards competition (May 2022) and Business to Business at the 14th Annual Shorty Awards (May 2022).

“IT leaders wrestle with day-to-day responsibilities alongside fulfilling their strategic seat at the business leadership table. Businesses are looking for more insight around emerging technologies and the role they play in shaping the future of their organisation and we are delivering,” said Lenovo NA chief marketing officer Gerald Youngblood. “Building off the premier season of Lenovo Late Night IT, this season breaks down trending topics and translates their importance for IT leaders and businesses deciphering the constantly-shifting tech landscape.”

“Brands need to move faster with more efficiency, and we are the perfect platform to help brand teams realise their ambitions. Our work with Lenovo aligns perfectly to our own ethos of transforming marketing to a faster ‘always on’ approach, which captures audience attention and keeps brands front of mind. We look forward to seeing the success of season two follow in the footsteps of the first,” said Benjamin Potter, North America CEO at CLICKON.

Season two kicks off with Thurston taking on the topic Workplace Flexibility with Kate Lister, president of Global Workplace Analytics and Ryan Anderson, CP, vice president of global research and insights at Miller Knoll.

Tune in weekly for episodes that will feature interviews with top executives and experts like Bernie Wong, founding member at MindShare, Dr. Lucas Joppa, chief sustainability officer and senior managing director at Haveli Investments, Adriele Parker, DE&I strategist and Jeff Wong, global chief innovation officer at EY.
