A showstopping floral display invites guests to experience the new LEGO Botanicals range, and try their hand at some flower-themed creativity in the run up to Valentine’s Day writes LBB’s Abi Lightfoot

London’s Covent Garden was in bloom today with a sensational floral display that wouldn’t be out of place at the Chelsea Flower Show, thanks to a Valentines Day-themed floral extravaganza courtesy of LEGO, Le Florist

A celebration of love, colour and creativity, the two day pop-up event on the 7th and 8th February invites guests to step into a Parisian-styled LEGO florist. With vibrant LEGO flowers cascading from the rooftop, lining the shelves and presenting countless photo opportunities, the showstopping pieces are presented as the perfect Valentine's Day gift that will never wilt, fade or die.

Of course, it wouldn't be a true LEGO experience without some building, so I eagerly sat to get involved. As a bit of a LEGO aficionado, I took on the task with confidence, only for my progress to be slightly skewed as the cool February temperature found its way into my fingertips. Nonetheless, creativity and determination prevailed and I was presented with my own LEGO Botanicals red rose to take home, packaged-up in its own elegant holder to transport it in.

For LEGO fans like myself, those looking for Valentine’s Day inspiration, or if you just want to feel the love, you can catch the event in Covent Garden until 7pm on the 8th February.
