Now is an exciting time for the London food and drink scene, with the explosion of independent eateries and lunch spots on every corner. And none more so than in its bohemian heart of Fitzrovia. But it can be easy to get into a rut of buying lunch from the same big chain cafes in prominent locations on the high street, rather than exploring what the smaller, lesser-known independents have to offer.

 

A new app, The Wheel Of Nom, is helping independent eateries fight back against the chains. The app makes it quick and easy for workers, visitors and residents alike, to find an independent place to eat and drink in Fitzrovia. From cute and cool, stripped back chic to flavoursome food and the best baristas in town, the app finds unknown gems, tucked away on hidden streets in a matter of seconds.

 

Created by independent communications agency, Leagas Delaney, the Wheel of Om Nom is free to download from the iTunes app store. A quick spin of the wheel leads you to the discovery of a potential new favourite spot as well as special offers. And if you don’t like it, just spin again.  

 

Over 30 independent brunch, lunch and drink spots are currently featured in the Wheel of Om Nom.
