LBB & Friends Beach at Cannes Lions: It's a Wrap!

Another Cannes Lions has come to a close and with it, the LBB & Friends Beach 2017. We’d like to extend a massive thank you to our sponsors. It’s because of these companies that we are able to open the beach up and offer all of our collective guests the Happy Hour drinks, access to the loungers, towels and, of course, the infamous goody bags.

The LBB & Friends Beach is the place in Cannes to meet people. From 10:30-18:00 every day, we welcome people from all over the world and all facets of the advertising industry. You are literally stumbling over new contacts and potential clients at every turn. All of this happens in a relaxed, social environment that takes full advantage of all that the glorious Mediterranean venue chosen by Cannes Lions has to offer. From Gold Lion winners, to jury members, speakers, Lions sponsors and every person in between – they are all down on ‘La Plage’. Team that with the input of our sponsors and a fabulous beach staff, serving up world class food and beverage and we have been on to a winner for eight years. 


While many are still recovering from their travels, their victories and their over-celebrating, we at LBB are hard at work planning the LBB & Friends Beach 2018. We will soon have sponsorship packages available, so if you are interested in joining us next year, please do get in touch with LBB. In addition to the recognition as sponsors, signage, promotion, logos, invitations & wristbands and swag distribution, the sponsors also get an early hour on the beach to get their position, welcome drinks on the beach, and the chance to promote their sponsorship at LBBOnline. 

The invitation list for the beach is composed of the combined lists of all of the sponsors. For our part, LBB invites only the companies that are LBB members, banner advertisers or clients of our PR wing, The LAB. If you want to guarantee your invitation for next year, getting your own page on LBB is your way in.

A page on LBB is much more than the beach. In fact, it is like the LBB & Friends Beach online, all year round. Once you have set up your page, you can use it to grow your fame within the global ad industry as you can use it to push out your latest news, work, award wins, hires and new business to our daily reach of up to 10,000 advertising types. What’s more, you can use it to promote your events and job postings – all for the cost of one Cannes lunch. 

All of the news and info you post will be tagged back to your page with your contact details, recommendations, followers and an individual counter that tells you how many people have visited your page. Your page archives all your news and details and most importantly in this era of cutbacks, actually tracks the value. On top of that, the LBB Editorial team, in addition to creating original content, choose from the news submitted by members for our twice-weekly newsletter. The more you use your page, the higher it will come up in the LBB feed, the more people will see it, and the more your fame will grow.
