Laundry Design, LLC, a full service production company and award winning animation studio, with offices in LA, SF and NY has signed on director Erin Doyle Cooper. With a keen eye for docu-style content as well as dark comedy, Erin seamlessly blends her roots as a classically trained actor and improv comedian with years of production and agency rapport. Her unique vision and brilliant production prowess positions her as a key live-action director who can cut to the emotional core of a story, provoking a strong response in the viewer.
Based in Los Angeles production, Erin specialises in highly visual work that challenges the status quo, whether it’s a manifesto-driven spot, a powerful short doc, or a subversive piece of comedy. Before transitioning to directing full-time, she was VaynerMedia’s first CD, and spent two years in-house at Pepsi, where she and a partner led advertising creative for Lady Gaga’s Halftime Show and the Super Bowl spot starring Cindy Crawford.
“I’ve been following Laundry for a long time as both a creative director and freelance commercial director, and am thrilled to have joined a roster that shares my values of parity, kindness, and creativity as a vehicle for creating impactful live-action work for brands.” added Erin.
“Erin is a welcome addition to the Laundry roster of directors because we have been seeing more requests for more social style content and requests for innovative, fresh documentary vision and she nails them both.”, said James Sweigert, CEO/managing director of Laundry.
“We couldn't be more excited to have Erin on board. Not only is her creativity and craft exquisite, but the variety of imagination she brings to every spot she directs is so exciting, and so Laundry.” said PJ Richardson, ECD Laundry & co-founder.
