KODE Welcomes Director Duo Miles and AJ for UK Representation

Award-winning production studio KODE Media have today welcomed Miles and AJ to their directorial roster. Having worked with a slew of global brands and world-renowned musicians, the exciting young talents will be represented by KODE for commercial, music promos and long-form content.

After a chance encounter, skilled editor Miles and creative script writer AJ quickly discovered a shared passion for filmmaking, reconnecting a year later to form their directorial partnership. Combining their individual skill sets to create a truly unique offering, the pair seamlessly blend Miles’ visual mindset, Unreal Engine and Editorial talents alongside AJ’s wordsmithery and strategic mind in their offering.

In their two years since entering the commercial space, Miles and AJ have found success by striking the perfect balance of fantastical realism, blending their VFX dreams with live-action shots to build believable worlds for many notable brands including Turo, Samsung, and most recently, Coca-Cola.

The duo’s commercial success came as a result of their work for global musicians including the promo for Doja Cat’s otherworldly ‘Need to Know’, which saw the singer reach cosmic dimensions as virtual reality meets outer-space futurism. To top it off, they’ve also crafted work for twenty øne piløts and megastar Billie Eilish.

Miles’ passion for Unreal Engine and CG technology - and the unlimited possibilities it offers - is evident in the duo’s extensive work for brands including Toyota and Alfa Romeo. Crafting hyper-real spots and shooting with modern live-action techniques combined with CG, the duo have established a reputation for themselves that is bold and daring, fusing different genres and styles together for brands such as Turo, Samsung, Xbox and Liquid IV.

As part of the KODE roster, Miles and AJ will strive to reach the top of the commercial game whilst breaking into the UK market, working closely with the production experts at KODE to craft innovative films through an artful lens.
