Kinsale Sharks Announces Music Video and Short Film Winners
Last night the winners of the Kinsale Sharks were announced for the music video and short film categories.
After a day of screening finalists’ work in Kinsale’s Acton Hotel, a total of 47 gold Sharks were awarded for a multitude of categories, to both Irish and international work.
Best Short Film Ireland went to ‘For You’, directed by Feel Good Lost of Hinterland Films, while two international films won gold in the Best Short Film category - ‘Cake’, directed by Ariel Friel of 76 Ltd and ‘Play the Game’, directed by Familia’s Sashinski.
Feel Good Lost had a great evening all round, taking home the Gold Shark for Best Music Video Ireland for their Talos - ‘Reborn’ video. Three Gold Sharks were awarded in the category for Best Music Video International: The Weeknd - ‘False Alarm’ and Leningrad - ‘Kolshik’, both directed by Ilya Naishuller of Great Guns and Jain - ‘Makeba’, directed by Greg&Lio of Quad Productions.
Winners in the advertising categories will be announced at the Gala Dinner on Saturday night.
