Kevin The Carrot Returns for Aldi in a Literal, Christmas Cliffhanger

Kevin the Carrot is back to front Aldi's Christmas campaign for the third year - but the ending of the teaser spot leaves us questioning if he'll survive another Christmas adventure. 

The 40-second animated tale, which was created by McCann Manchester and directed by Psyop's Todd Mueller & Kylie Matulick, opens with Kevin behind the wheel of a big, red truck that looks suspicuously similar to the Christmas wheels of a certain multinational soft drinks company. 

Everything is sweet, Kevin waving to kids' faces peering out onto the snowy streets as he drives by, before an avalanche leaves Kevin and his shipment of carrots in perilous, literal cliffhanger. 

Aldi has confirmed that this is the start of a campaign that'll continue to unfold as the Christmas season ramps up.
