Joshua Tree Signs Director Marc Wilkins for Exclusive Indian Representation

New York based European director Marc Raymond Wilkins is going to be exclusively represented by Joshua Tree in India.

In his directorial career spanning over fifteen years, Marc has won many awards and accolades. In his early years he earned recognition from Commercial Film Producers- Europe Young Guns festival for upcoming talent. Part of the 2003 Saatchi and Saatchi New Director's showcase in Cannes, he also won a 'Gold Lion' for his PSA for Doctors Without Borders the same year.

His latest work, a short film 'Hotel Pennsylvania' has been recieved favorably in a number of International Film Festivals and won many prestigious awards.

In his own words, Marc is a 'story teller' and the play of emotion is what he depends upon, in order to engage with his audience.

With a great eye for people and a keen sense when it comes to detail, Marc brings his characters to life often playing upon the subtleties of humor, joy and amusement, falling back upon his real life experiences of observing people in everyday life.

His commercial titled 'The Bus' for Midttrafik, Denmark won him Gold at the Eurobest Awards in Lisbon in 2012 and Gold and the Grand Prix at the Epica Awards Europe the same year. 

Other notable work includes the 'Grumpy Grandfather' spot for Cherkashin where he's mananged to pull off exceptional performances and balanced it with his trademark stylized storytelling.

His other prominent work includes ads for McCann USA, Goodby Silverstein and Partners and JWT. Commercials for brands like Schick, BMW, Sprint Nextel, Mercedes Benz, Nivea and Greenply in India are part of Marc's reel.

Born in Switzerland, Marc grew up on the island of Crete and in Germany.
