GL-X, a division of Grand Large Inc, announces the official signing of director Jonas Elrod for exclusive US commercial representation.

Jonas has been in the film industry for over ten years working on various projects including documentaries, music videos, commercials and short films.
He began his career at Rockhard Films where he worked on all aspects of production ranging from Director, Producer and Editor. Focusing primarily on music videos and commercials, he collaborated with top artist and clients including Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Spike Lee, Nike and ESPN.
After eight years behind the camera he certainly did not expect his next project to be his own story. Jonas’ second documentary, Wake Up, follows him on a personal journey looking for truth and meaning after experiencing a very radical and surprising spiritual awakening.
On October 16th, Wake Up will be the premier film on the Oprah Winfrey Network’s new series “Super Soul Sunday”. Following the documentary, Oprah will interview Jonas to discover where his journey has taken him.
In addition, Jonas recently directed three Febreze Air Effects commercials for Grey Advertising that blindfolded real people in the middle of some very smelly situations. The spots creatively combine storytelling and humor to prove Febreze eliminates odors so people can “breath happy”.
Jonas is currently based in New York and hard at work on his follow-up feature, a southern gothic spiritual thriller, June’s Last Wish.
