Jon Dupuis Joins Havas NY as Chief Performance Marketing Officer and MD
Havas New York today announced the appointment of Jon Dupuis as Chief Performance Marketing Officer and Managing Director.
In this newly created role, Dupuis will be responsible for scaling and optimising performance marketing capabilities for clients within the New York group: across Havas Creative, Havas Media, Helia and Cognitive. Dupuis will sit on the Havas New York executive leadership team, and report into the agency’s CEO, Laura Maness.
“Jon is a hybrid marketer with a deep understanding of creative, digital, data and media, and a proven track record for leading marketers through transformative growth and organisational change,” said Maness. “His strengths are a great match for Havas, as we continue to break new ground in creativity using the tools of modern marketing.”
For nearly two decades, Dupuis has helped creative brands navigate a complex, continuously evolving marketing landscape. He joins Havas from DigitasLBi where he served as EVP, Marketing, leading the agency’s largest account in North America, American Express, across brand, acquisition and loyalty. During his seven years there, he helped develop some of American Express’ most notable digital-led platforms, including Small Business Saturday, Unstaged and Passion Project. Dupuis also started a DigitasLBi relationship with Under Armour, helping the agency add Performance Media AOR duties under his leadership. Earlier in his career, Dupuis was co-founder of creative independent NYCA, an agency he grew from two people to a shop of 65 employees across 12 global accounts.
Dupuis commented, “Joining Havas was an ideal fit. Their village model is purpose-designed for collaboration, marrying an incredibly diverse body of skills with a creative, entrepreneurial spirit. Creating groundbreaking work has always been part of the Havas DNA. I am excited to join and believe our best work lies ahead.”
