Welcome to the 'Colonel's Arms', KFC's first-ever pub. In this online campaign fronted by former footie pro Jimmy Bullard, the establishment offers both a convenient place to watch the big game and a hub for KFC deliveries.
Jimmys high energy charisma is not the only thing to catch the viewers attention, but the bright and fun-filled interior with a UK grime / drill track and attention grabbing sound design to match.
Grime and Drill music is the genre KFC UK associate their brand with, so GAS Music crafted a number of bespoke compositions to fit brief. 100% of the chosen composition was compiled using MIDI and samples, with the sound design comprising of a mixture of samples and foley.
Other highlights of the project include 'gravy on tap' pints, retro arcade games and drumstick-themed table football. Get me to Colonel's Arms now!
All in all, the project was a lot of fun and a fantastic creative approach by GAS Music's friends at Social Chain.
