Metro has treated special guests to a London themed trade exhibition called Urban Impressions with a number of carefully selected artists. jelly London were delighted to collaborate closely with London agency Creative Orchestra, who curated the event and transformed a Soho townhouse into a wondrous place of art.
Artist James Dawe did his very first jelly job for Metro in the form of two huge collage portraits expressing the highs and lows of living in London.
He worked from two portraits: a cheerful man and a cross lady to create the collages entirely from Metro newspapers.
Freelance jelly Kitchen artists Rob Lee, Charlie Hodgson and Nic Farell contributed to this explosion of creativity as well. Graphic artist Rob painted an anamorphic Metro logo across the walls and stairs, making for an exceptional entrance to the building.
Charlie painted the passages of the six storey house with classic graphic novel style wall illustrations, and Nic made various messages stand out with her hand-lettered blackboards.
