The Music Playground and The Diner teams have taken yet another giant stride towards delivering the best product to their collaborators with the recent hiring of Jeff Stevenson as its new executive producer. The Music Playground (TMP) is a topnotch music house offering a wide range of services, including original music creation, artist licensing, music placement, supervision and clearance. The Diner is a premium, customizable production music library. The addition of Jeff Stevenson is a testament of the company's commitment to providing a comprehensive creative approach and the best creative options possible.

“Jeff brings an exciting new ear and eye to our expanding music family. He’s creative, he has a natural talent for music, and his dynamic charisma is unparalleled. Hiring him was a no-brainer and we are extremely excited to welcome him and have him on board as one of our own,” said Sydney Ferleger, president of TMP and The Diner.

Jeff joins the team as a well-seasoned music producer and former composer; he brings his expertise in original music creation, licensing, and client service. Before joining TMP/The Diner he spent over two years as the Executive Producer for Nashville-based boutique music house Howling Music, where he handled both client relations and creative production on everything from original music projects to catalog licensing to sound design and sonic branding. Before that he worked as a Production Manager for Sorted Noise, a sync-focused production company based in Nashville. Over the years, Jeff has produced works for top brands like Capital One, The NFL, Marriott, American Express, Coinbase, Uber Eats, Indeed, Tanqueray, and Denny’s.

“I’ve known the folks at TMP/The Diner for several years now. They’re a wonderfully creative collective of musical minds that excel across every vertical: their original music is always dynamic, unexpected, and elegantly produced; their library is stylistically encyclopedic and sonically excellent; they have partnerships with hundreds of amazing indie artists; they take on epic music supervision/clearance projects; and they’ve got serious in-house talent for sonic branding, sound design, and audio post. In other words, they do it all!” says Stevenson.

TMP and The Diner have continued to expand their global efforts in 2022. One way they have done this is by partnering with MUXIC, the Music Tourism Office for the government of Mexico, to promote the development of local Latin talent and to represent the MUXIC catalog of artists for sync licensing. Another expansion has been opening a sister creative studio for original music in the heart of Mexico City, El Patio de Musica. Jeff, who has lived and worked in Mexico for the last 18 months, will remain based in Mexico City to support the MUXIC and El Patio de Musica initiatives to unite incredible LATAM musical talent with exciting creative sync opportunities. He will simultaneously bring his wealth of experience and knowledge to TMP’s expanding creative and business development endeavors in the advertising, film, and television markets, both in Mexico and across the United States.

“This is a uniquely exciting opportunity,” says Stevenson. “I’m thrilled to be joining such a virtuosic and versatile team, and look forward to building upon their existing momentum to explore new collaborations in the original music and licensing spaces, both in the USA and in Latin America.”
