Nice Shirt Films have signed a young director who has spent the last fourteen years working on comedy classics but who is totally new to commercials. James De Frond started out as a runner at Talkback working on the likes of Brass Eye and Alan Partridge before working his way up from assistant cameraman to writer and executive producer.
He has worked with Leigh Francis and a whole host of other young comedic talent. James recently wrote, exec-produced and directed VIP and the Morgana Show for Channel 4. He is currently working on a primetime comedy sitcom for the BBC and a US show for FX.
Nice Shirt Films are looking forward to channeling the 32-year-old's comedy expertise in the commercial world.
