Denny’s Diner has released the second episode of its new web series, “The Grand Slams.” In Time to Grind, “Bold Coffee” makes an appearance as a steaming, crime-fighting, aviator-wearing, mustachioed mug.
The animated/claymation-esque series kicked off last week with Breakfast Clubbin’ and is available on Denny’s YouTube channel. An additional six episodes will be released through the rest of the year, following the cast’s hilarious escapades through Halloween and much more. More are already in development for 2015.
Erwin Penland, the agency that has taken Denny’s social personality to hilariously successful heights, conceptualized this branded series and teamed up with Stoopid Buddy Stoodios (of Robot Chicken fame) to bring the idea to life.
