Isobar Jumps Into the Wonderful World of Rice Krispies With New App

Story-telling app inspires kids' & parents' imaginations

Today Isobar launches ‘Treat Baking’, an iOS app for Kellogg’s Rice Krispies that turns Rice Krispie recipes into inspiring stories for kids and parents to enjoy together. Building on the Kellogg’s Rice Krispie brand idea ‘Imagine That’, the app engages kids throughout the recipe creation process with engaging content and animations, turning baking into an imagination-fuelled, entertaining experience for families. The App was created by Kellogg’s European Digital Agency, Isobar, and will be available to download for free from the Apple App Store on 18th August.


Each Kellogg’s Rice Krispie recipe story mirrors activity in the kitchen, with characters acting out the method with you. The aim is to enable kids to exercise their imaginations in a constructive activity they can do with their parent(s). It puts the kids at the heart of the story and, alongside fictional characters, they go on an adventure in “Mallow Town” capturing moments along the way which are compiled in a memento video that can be shared on social networks.  

The app’s creative style extends the aesthetic of the newly-developed brand website (also created by Isobar) and reflects Rice Krispies fun and adventurous spirit.
