Isa Espona Promoted to Executive Creative Director for Catorce, Part of DDB Worldwide

Catorce, part of the DDB Worldwide network, has promoted Isa Espona to executive creative director. Based in Barcelona, Catorce won the SEAT business in 2016. The agency has over 25 nationalities and services 11 markets globally.

Isa was one of the very first employees of the agency, starting as an art director in 2016, moving on to head of art in 2017, to creative director in 2019. Her rise to ECD is testament to the agency’s commitment to promoting from within.

She comes from a design background and holds 10 years’ experience in advertising from working with brands such as Bacardi Group, Carolina Herrera, Diesel and Evax & Tampax at digital agency Doubleyou, and brands like Audi and Volkswagen for DDB Spain. In her new role, she will be reporting into Toby Talbot, chief creative officer.

Says Toby: “Nicole Taylor (Catorce CEO) and I are really proud and excited by Isa’s  promotion. She has proven herself time and again as a great mentor to creatives, a  trusted client advisor and true guardian of the SEAT and CUPRA brands. Talent like hers  deserves special recognition.”

Adds Isa: "I'm very excited to be stepping into this role, as I feel that the world of  advertising, and especially the automotive industry, is facing a transformation that will  become a significant creative challenge. I am also glad to have been given the  opportunity to provide a local perspective for an international agency.”
