Thank You Care Takers is an initiative set up by a group of entrepreneurs and volunteers from across multiple disciplines and countries. It is a platform to gather messages of gratitude from the public and deliver these directly to care takers around the world - in hospitals, clinics and places they will be seen by those they are meant for. To thank them for working impossible shifts and putting our families before their own, during this battle against the Covid-19 virus.
The aim is to collect at least one million messages of thanks and to deliver every single one of them to 10 million care takers. To encourage the public to participate and share their messages, companies are offering free airtime and commercial space. Thanks to their help this campaign will be seen on TV, in print and out of home media.
Chris Friend, MD at Iris Amsterdam: “This is a wonderful project to be involved with. A real chance to give the public a way of saying thank you and getting those messages to the people who really need to hear them. What this crisis has shown is that people are amazing. Whilst our team can’t help on the front line, we can create. And some of the best creative talent out there jumped at the chance to do their bit.
The team at Thank You Care Takers have given their skill and experience to get this going. We have managed to work with the amazing people at Stainless Sound, MassiveMusic and Eyeforce to get a TVC shot, edited and distributed in days.
The team has been unbelievable, working night and day alongside all the partners in this project to develop communications and social strategies and creative across media including Out of Home, Digital, Social and broadcast. All aimed at making sure that the Care Takers across the world understand how grateful and thankful we all are for everything they are doing for all of us. Please get involved and let them know you care.”
Jasper Mutsaerts from Thank You Care Takers: ”The mission of thankyoucaretakers.com is to spread the contagion of gratitude with health care takers worldwide. Thankyoucaretakers.com encourages civilians to share a 'thank you' message on the platform and these messages are being delivered to hospitals through live stream. So far we have engaged 100.000 people with this gratitude movement."
Damien Hope, director at Eyeforce: “In just two weeks time we scripted, produced, shot and edited the TVC. It was so special to see how willing people were to help and contribute to this project. The challenge was to create something fast, with very little budget while keeping the WHO measures in mind. And we did just that.”
