iris Amsterdam is set to host an evening dedicated to lessons that brands can learn from China's 'new retail' landscape on November 15th at Zuiderkerk in Amsterdam.
The panel, including Ksenia Khalina, head of global trade marketing at Heineken; Daniel Beatty, general manager of Red Bull Greater China; David King, board director of the China-Britain Business Council; and Jill Smith, business director at iris China, will explore what Western markets can pick up from China's massive and complex retail landscape. Moderated by Paul Kemp-Robertson, co-founder and editor of Contagious, the group will unpack the future of retail - made in China.
From WeChat to Wang Hong, retail in China is about the experience in the blurred space between the physical and online worlds, where consumers are given nearly seamless purchasing power. Offering a glimpse into the future of retail, four case studies will be presented throughout the evening to demonstrate what brands can learn from retail in China and how they can apply that anywhere.
