Iris Worldwide has announced the promotion of Elizabeth Hall to group managing director, strengthening the agency’s leadership in the Americas as it continues to expand its client base and service offering. Hall steps into the role following a period of sustained growth in the region, having previously served as managing director of Iris Atlanta.

Elizabeth has played a pivotal role in the success of Iris US, driving 30% year-on-year growth in the Atlanta office through organic expansion and new business wins. Under her leadership, Iris has broadened its specialisms, including the introduction of PR and data-driven performance marketing, further embedding its Participation Agency model with both new and long-standing clients such as Barclays, Bentley, IHG, Samsonite and Wellstar Health System.

In her new role, Elizabeth will focus on developing an integrated offering across the US, ensuring Iris’s culture and creative energy translate across markets. She will take the lead on key accounts, including IKEA and will oversee all talent in the growing Boston office. She will report directly to Jill Smith, CEO of Iris Americas.

Prior to joining Iris, Elizabeth held senior roles at leading agencies, including serving as group account director at 360i and associate client partner at Moxie, where she was instrumental in driving strategic growth and leading high-profile client accounts including Capital One, Enterprise Holdings and Verizon.

Jill Smith, CEO of Iris Americas, commented, “Elizabeth has been a driving force behind the incredible momentum in our Atlanta office, delivering growth, fostering innovation, and expanding our capabilities. Her energy and enthusiasm are unmatched, and now is the perfect time to expand her impact across the region. I have no doubt that she will help shape the future of Iris in the Americas and continue to deliver for our clients.”

Elizabeth Hall, group managing director, added, “Iris has been on an incredible growth journey, and I’m excited to help take our work to the next level across the Americas. I’m passionate about fostering a culture that fuels creativity and commercial success, and I look forward to working with our teams and clients to shape the future of our agency.”

Beyond her work at Iris, Elizabeth is committed to giving back to the local community, leading Iris’s local support for LifeLine Animal Project and collaborating with institutions such as Savannah College of Art & Design to help develop future creative talent. In 2024, she also graduated from the Columbia Business School CMO Program, further equipping her team to help CMOs navigate the evolving marketing landscape.

This appointment comes as part of a series of senior leadership moves at Iris, further strengthening the agency’s global and regional leadership teams. Recent promotions and hires include Menno Kluin as global chief creative officer, Eduardo Maruri as global creative chair, and Leigh Armstrong as EVP global growth and marketing director.

These leadership changes reflect Iris’s commitment to investing in top talent to drive innovation, creativity, and growth across key global markets.
