The IPA is seeking a brand-new Board for its 44 Club, to inject more inspiration, excitement, entertainment and cerebral stimulation into the industry calendar, for which applications open from today (18th February 2025).
The IPA 44 Club is a culture club designed to bring on and bring together the best and the brightest with a calendar of invigorating industry gatherings. It is named after the address of IPA HQ: 44 Belgrave Square and was first established in 1997, from which it grew to be one of the hottest tickets in town, before closing its doors during lockdown. Until now...
To bring it back to life and drive it forward, the IPA is seeking four agency employees bursting full of energy, enthusiasm and creativity. Or, in the words of Steve Jobs, “the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently.”
For anyone interested in this role, the application form is available on the IPA website, for which applicants simply have to outline their ideas, by 21st March, on what they can bring to the culture of the industry in terms of helping to create and shape a calendar of inspirational gatherings.
While the applications are pored over, and to kick things off, the first event has been organised by the IPA. This will be a comedy club on 23rd April, featuring award-winning up-and-coming comedians. Tickets are available from the IPA website.
