This extremely stylish spot from Impact BBDO Dubai is unlike any retail sale ad we’ve ever seen. It’s gritty, funny and deliciously dark. Directed by Maged Nassar and produced by Beirut production house, Good People, the spot for the popular fashion retailer Centrepoint has clearly struck a chord with audiences – it’s clocked up over a million views across Youtube and Facebook in just six hours.
It sees a well-dressed man growling through an dusty landscape in a vintage car, pondering the rank unfairness and unpredictability of life and… well, we don’t want to give away too much. The copy and the craft is exquisite but the punchline is everything. What we can say is that it's beautiful to look at and incredibly sharp.
