Campaign from VML Poland captures the joy of spending moments together

IKEA has launched its holiday campaign - a multichannel project covering TV, online, and cinema channels. The campaign aims to show how to create a unique holiday atmosphere at home that lasts, much like IKEA’s thoughtfully designed products - for the holidays and beyond. The campaign is accompanied by an ad that highlights the joy of spending moments together with family and friends. VML Poland is responsible for the spot's adaptation and campaign creation.

"If you’re eagerly awaiting the first star on Christmas Eve, be sure to watch IKEA’s special holiday campaign spot, 'For the Holidays and Every Day.' It’s well known that pets - especially the charming dachshund starring in this spot - show their joy and nostalgia more sincerely than anyone else. True to their feelings, they remind us of the importance of closeness. It doesn’t matter whether it’s the holiday season or just an ordinary day. They also inspire us to carry the beauty of holiday moments with loved ones into our everyday lives. At IKEA, we aim to create homes that not only meet practical needs but also fulfil our emotional ones, fostering well-being and helping keep the magic of the holidays alive every day." said Karolina Szabłowska, marketing communication manager IKEA Retail in Poland. 

You can watch the spot on TV, online, and in selected cinemas in two time versions: 30 seconds and 60 seconds. It features the song 'Kiss a Dream' by the Las Vegas Big Band, performed by *Swingers & Crooners.

A Contest for Animal Lovers and Interior Design Enthusiasts

IKEA has also launched a contest for pet owners, encouraging them to share photos showcasing IKEA products as their pets’ favourite relaxation spots. Fantastic prizes await, including rewards for your furry friends! Participants can win a 500 PLN IKEA gift card, 500 cards worth 50 PLN, and an honoured spot in the IKEA Family gallery for their pet’s photo. The contest for IKEA Family members will run from November 12th to December 16th. To enter, simply take a photo, make any purchase at IKEA during the contest period, and fill out the contest form available soon here

The spot adaptation and campaign creative have been handled by the VML agency, with the digital component led by Wavemaker. IKEA is also collaborating with selected influencers who will showcase the holiday collections on their social media accounts, inspiring creative approaches to interior design. Additionally, through the IKEA Family loyalty program, IKEA customers can enjoy extra benefits tailored for special holiday moments, combining festive charm with everyday practicality.
