H/L Hosts 2024 AMIN Global Conference in San Francisco

'The Summer of Illumination: Leadership in the Age of AI' kicks off at The Fairmont June 23rd-26th, 2024

Independent creative ad and media agency H/L will host the 2024 AMIN Global Conference, June 23rd-26th, 2024 at The Fairmont in San Francisco. An initiative from AMIN Worldwide, the conference brings together executives from AMIN-member agencies to discuss key issues facing the industry and share knowledge: this year’s focus is the advent of AI technology. With headquarters in the Bay Area - the epicentre of the AI revolution - H/L hosting this year’s AMIN conference was a natural fit. 

AMIN Worldwide is an international alliance of independently owned advertising agencies that work with iconic global, national, and regional brands. AMIN serves as a vibrant hub for member agencies to share industry experience, resources, and insight. This conference is an annual symposium, with this year’s agenda centring on AI, creativity, and leadership. The conference will feature numerous panels and workshops led by prominent voices who are leading the conversation in AI, Futurist and Digital Prophet, David Shing 'Shingy'; managing director of the Ignite AI Community, Jules Costa; chief creative officer of Native Foreign, Nik Kleverov; and San Francisco 49ers president, Al Guido.

As leaders in advertising, H/L is presently exploring the use of AI in its operations and work on behalf of its clients. Internally, H/L has established a think tank to discuss, review, and align its agency policy around the use of AI. Presently, H/L applies AI technology as a toolset for its teams to help clients while being meticulous about not sharing client data outside of internal applications. The IT team at H/L reviews any potential AI technology for security compliance and the ability to have human oversight on output from AI tools. Additionally, H/L’s in-house data engineering team helps evaluate the application of AI tech into its workstreams.
