HeathWallace, the JWT-owned digital consultancy, has made two senior appointments – one in Hong Kong and another in its new office in Singapore, as the agency strengthens its presence in Asia.
The agency has appointed Bo Zou as head of user experience (UX) design, Asia. He moves from Toronto to join HeathWallace Hong Kong, and will start in his new role in March.
Boz, as he is known, will report to HeathWallace regional managing director, Asia Pacific, Maria Sit. His brief is to help oversee the growing UX Design team both in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Alongside Boz, the agency has also appointed its first employee of its Singapore office – Kaisen Wang. As the new senior UX designer, Wang will report to Boz.
Boz established an experience design studio called BOZ UX (www.bozux.com), prior to that he was working at Critical Mass, as an Associate Planning Director. Boz has also led the User Experience team at Crispin Porter + Bogusky (Canada), overseeing the experience strategy and design through all digital channels. Some of the clients that Boz has worked with include: Citibank, AMEX, Nissan / Infiniti, Molson Coors, Ikea, Toshiba, Microsoft, Unilever, Best Buy and Pfizer.
Wang was previously the assistant vice-president, experience design at OCBC Bank in Singapore and head of user experience and usability, Telenor Group Malaysia.
The agency regional managing director of Asia, Sit said: “The notion of ‘science meets art’ well describes Boz’ vision and his career path in experience strategy and design, steering holistic creative process grounded on human centric insights. And Kaisen’s rich experience working as a UX leader in-house will bring a different kind of depth that has been key to HeathWallace’s co-creation approach with clients.
“Our aim is to create a team that is uniquely adapted to the challenges facing today’s businesses, and these two new senior appointment put us well along the road to doing that.”
