Havas Media China today announced that it has acquired the integrated media planning and buying business of Wuhan LIVAT Shopping Centre, which is IKEA Centres’ third shopping mall launch in China with the previous two located in Wuxi and Beijing.
Havas Media secured the business after a fierce pitch that involved media agencies UM and Dentsu. It further strengthens the agency’s relationship with IKEA Centres, which partnered with Havas Media for the launch of its previous two shopping centres in Wuxi and Beijing.
Commenting on the win, Manfred Tsang, MD of Havas Media Group Shanghai said: “We are very excited to be working on IKEA Centres’ third launch in the country. It is a testament to the quality of our delivery. The launch of the previous two LIVAT shopping centres in Wuxi and Beijing was extraordinarily successful and we accumulated a lot experience.
