After being named Creative, Media and Digital AOR for Kmart, Havas Chicago debuted its first Kmart TV spot entitled 'Floating Present' during last year’s crucial Q4/Holiday retail season. Now the agency has rolled out its first content of this year to support the brand’s focus on re-energizing Kmart and making shopping fun again. The spots are running on TV (cable, network, syndication), digital and Kmart's YouTube channel. Renowned comedic director Dax Martinez-Vargas directed the trio of spots.
'Sleep Like a Dog,' currently running to promote Kmart’s Home Sale and bedding deals, humorously depicts a scene pet-lovers are all too familiar with: snuggling in bed with their dog…and experiencing an unexpected surprise.
'Ballad,' is a campy Valentine’s Day spot featuring a hair metal band serenading a woman shopping at Kmart for gifts. The takeaway: #LoveRocks when you shop @Kmart.
